A New Era Begins

New development in Penang and Selangor. Former Gerakan deputy secretary-general Datuk Lee Kah Choon has sccepted the post of director of InvestPenang and Penang Development Corporation (PDC), two of the state’s economic development agencies. The reason? Toward the economic betterment of Penang.

“I have accepted Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s offer after serious thought, consultation and considerations. I think everyone understands it was a very difficult decision to make, especially if we follow partisan politics,” he said in a press conference held yesterday at the Chief Minister’s office.



前民政党副总秘书李家全正式被槟州人民联盟政府委任两个要职,出任槟州发展机构董事(Penang Development Corporation,简称PDC)以及投资槟州(Invest Penang)董事及执行委员会主席。



Mean while, in Selangor, Sungai Pinang assemblyman Teng Chang Khim and PKR’s Taman Medan assemblyman Haniza Talha will be appointed as Speaker and Deputy Speaker. A first in in Selangor as a non-Malay Speaker and a woman Deputy Speaker.
