Sunset - Bukit Belimbing, Balakong

Sunset always is the most beautiful moment, but also the shortest. So i like to snap those kind of photos, i think most of my collections are related to sunset. From my house here, my house in Batu Ferringhi, go to hiking at Gunung Ledang, the waste treatment pond in Ipoh near Yang Ping house, sunrise and sunset at the middle of Gunung Tahan .....

The photo took by using compact digital camera only. Ok la, this camera, Olympus Camedia C370, boleh tahan. Close-up up to 3 cm only, very close.....

Grandma, Mother & Daughter

Check the photo, what you can see? funny huh? This is the plant at my company's factory in Batu Caves. The young leaf is growing on the older leaf, and these two generations still attach to grandma. Even plant know how to "stay" together for 3 generations, how about Man ?

This is brothers and sisters, sitting close to each other. Good relationship....

My House in Pg - Part 1

My House - part of Front View
For your information, my house in Penang, Batu Ferringhi will be demolished soon. I will take a lot of photos, everywhere, in the house till outside, surrounding area, trees, animals, sands, drain, grass, insects.............. since i was born there in 1976, till now, a lot of changes, my house from short become long, my playground from big to small (cause neaby area being used for housing area, i mean illegal type), the trees from short to tall, then become short again (being chopped), my bicycle (3 wheels cycle) become BMX, then Metal Frame Road Bike, then Mountain Bike, and of course me la, from little boy become a man with wife and my little dragon next year. Things change a lot, a lot. Grandfather and grandmother from young become old old man and woman, everyone grow older.

My house, actually is one of the 4 houses that built on this ground dated back to early 1900. Imagine, my grandfather was born in Penang and age nearly 90, so does my grandmother. Almost 100 years my Sim's Family settle in Penang, and this house too. But now, the house is gonna to be demolished soon, maybe next year, maybe another 2 or 3 years or more. What ever thing that gonna to happen in the future, whether this piece of land will become high end condo, or part of the coastal road that lead to Teluk Bahang, i hope that we, all the cucu cicik of Sim's Family, will always unite, forever.

My Grandfather's Garage
My grandfather's garage, used to keep his Bus Sekolah. Then his car, after that my uncle's VW van, now empty, just for hanging of cloths. haha. My grandfather use to sleep on the "1st floor" of this garage, but moved to "ground floor" at "East Wing" after this structure was declared as "unsafe", will runtuh anytime.

Jap's BOMB !!!
This is the Bomb that Japanese Zero War Plane dropped on top of Penang. My uncle found it on the beach Batu Ferringhi some time ago. It is "dead" and i will keep it. This is one of my "toy" during my childhood, kekeke. Give it to my little dragon to play next time.

Drilling Machine
One of the item in my grandfather's garage: Drilling Machine. Not from Bosch. Old fashion type, fully manual, use hand to drill. One of the experiment instrument for me when i was young. Still workable, no problem at all, just need to change the drill bit.

ok..To be continued next time .....

Male Pregnancy

Man can get pregnant? Wow, cant imagine that. But this guy Lee Ming Wei from Taiwan got pregnant. So if Boon Keat if you want to have the feeling of becoming pregnant, try this out. Maybe one day, in this earth all man need to share the responsibility to produce the next generation, not only women only.

Boon Keat, think about it!!!!!

Below is the Story
In the years since the first "test tube baby" was born in 1978, physicians and scientists from RYT Hospital have been working to develop a viable technique for the successful impregnation of male individuals. Illustrated to the right is a recent radiographic image of Mr. Lee, the first human subject to attempt this procedure, which shows the healthy fetus developing in his abdominal cavity.

HORMONESOral doses of female hormones were administered to Mr. Lee to make him receptive to the pregnancy.

IMPLANTATIONIVF techniques were used to induce an ectopic pregnancy by implanting an embryo and placenta into the abdominal cavity, just under or into the peritoneum (the surrounding lining). There is a severe risk of massive hemorrhage when the ectopic ruptures; this is also the most common cause of women dying in pregnancy.

EMBRYO GROWTHOnce implantation was complete, Mr. Lee stopped taking hormones, because the pregnancy itself, as expected, took over. The embryo secretes sufficient hormones to maintain its own growth and development.

GROWTH OF THE FETUSThe duration of the pregnancy has been surprisingly normal, i.e. fetal heart monitoring, chorionic villus sampling, ultrasound scanning (as seen on this web site), and a constant watch over Mr. Lee's health and his enlarging stomach.

DELIVERYThe delivery will requires open surgery (Cesarean section) to remove the baby and the placenta. Removal of the placenta is the real danger because it forms such intimate connections with surrounding vessels that massive hemorrhage is likely. Implantation may have also involved other structures in the abdomen, including the bowel and it is possible that parts of other organs may need to be removed. Several physicians who are well-accustomed to advanced and dangerous forms of ectopic pregnancies will be on-hand to handle any complications.

CANON Launched New Pro dSLR

Last week me and Kam Meng attended the seminar organised by Canon Malaysia at Royale Bintang Hotel, Jalan Bukit Bintang. Early morning the road was close for rehearsal for 11th Asean Summit. The morning session was quite boring la, afternnon session was more interesting, conducted by Ian Llyod, Canadian. He is a pro photograher and contribute photos to National Geographic, and others. According to Canon, they will organize more seminar in the future, and Ian Llyod will be the guest. FOC canon photography book, Professional Digital Photography Guide Book, freen lunch, tea break, nice Canon girls, can try on various type of Digital Cameras.

EOS 1Ds Mark II, 5D, 1D Mark II N

Below is the Spec of Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II, it has 45 points AF. Price? Wow !! RM 29,999.00, body only. But we do try EOS 5D (12.8 Mega Pixels), very good, very very fast focusing, 9 point AF. Price only RM 14,499.00 only, i like this model compared to EOS 350D, which after i tried EOS 5D. Canon EOS 1D Mark II N (8.2 MPixel, 45 points AF), RM 24,999.00 only.

For further information, visit www.canon.com.my

The EOS-1Ds Mark II is the sixteen (point seven) megapixel successor to the EOS-1Ds which was announced almost exactly two years earlier. Carrying on from the EOS-1Ds the Mark II has a full size 35 mm (36 x 24 mm) sensor which means it introduces no field-of-view crop, an 18 mm lens on this camera will provide exactly the same field-of-view as it would on a 35 mm film camera. At first glance it's clear to see that Canon has stuck (as they did with the EOS-1D Mark II) with the same body and control layout.

Despite the significant jump in resolution from the EOS-1Ds (11 mp) to the EOS-1Ds Mark II (16.7 mp) the camera maintains an impressive four frames per second shooting rate and a buffer large enough for 32 JPEG or 11 RAW images. The EOS-1Ds Mark II's internal bus throughput of approximately 67 megapixel/sec is virtually identical to the eight megapixel EOS-1D Mark II.
