Dizzy

Yesterday after office hour, went to toilet, took the lift, walked to lobby, stepped from the glass door, suddenly wind blowed to me, immediately i was dizzy. I cant even walked straight, my head kept on spinning only, like Gasing, the whole world macam wanna collapsed. Never happen before. Something is wrong with me!!!! But what??

Maybe not enough sleep for the past few days? Or thinking too much until some of the "valve" accidentally closed it, blocking the air to my "processor"?? I think i need some rest, just concentrate my job first. Stop thinking camera, shares, politics ......

Maybe the radiation from hand phone disturbing my receptor!!!
Maybe.....

Water Rate for Apartment Users

Yesterday i saw the notice by management office saying the Water Rate for us (apartment users) has increased from RM1.20/cu.m to RM 1.38/cu.m effectively 1st November 2006.

It doesn't matter how many cu.m of water i use, even if i use only One (1) cu.m, i still will be charge at RM 1.38. What the hell is that? Other users (others than Apartment and Condominium) are being charged at RM 0.57/cu.m for 1st 20 cu.m. Why? Is it because those who stay at Apartment are RICHER compared to Semi-D, Terrace House, Bungalow???

Why should we pay RM 1.38 when others pay only RM 0.57, a different of RM 0.81 / cu.m???? Why the rate increase even when we use less than 20 cu.m???

This is unacceptable!!!

Pirates In Town Again

Mah Deh, still want to increase toll rate (here) in Klang Valley. Idiot!!!

Quote:
"Toll rates will be increased for five concessionaires come Jan 1, 2007, according to Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu.

He said the Government could not afford to compensate the concessionaires for the Guthrie Corridor Expressway, Karak Highway, Grand Saga Cheras-Kajang Highway, Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) and Kesas Shah Alam Highway the estimated RM2bil, if no increase was approved during this round of concession agreements"

Why the hell BN government want to come up the stupid Contract that will benefit the Pirate Highway Concessionaires when ever they are not allow to increase the toll rate? Who the hell behind all these company who take care the highway?

On another news, Guthrie going to sell off Guthrie Corridor to Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas) for RM 936 million. So, after sapu the money, now wanna sell off, and increase the toll rate?

Mean while, another new Highway is on the way to Suck Rakyat money. Prolintas, which is a unit of Permodalan Nasional Bhd, owns 90% of PLSAS, while the remaining 10% is held by Island & Peninsular Bhd.

Quote The Sun:
He was speaking after witnessing a signing ceremony between the government and Projek Lintasan Shah Alam Sdn Bhd (PLSAS) on a 40-year concession of the Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway.

Hey 40 years you know, not 14 years!!!!

Astrophotography

Ever you thinking of taking photos of moon, stars, comet, nebula, planets....? For me yes, when i was young. But taking those "things" you need extra powerful zoom lens, or else all the "things" that you take will become tiny-tiny "manik". That's why, i only took moon, from Earth. But still, the moon look small (using 210mm).

Now Canon give you some tips how to do it - Astrophotography.

Photo from Canon.

Higher Water Tariff

The PIRATE is on the town again starting today, 1st November 2006. In order to cover their loss, Government allow Syabas to charge us higher water rate since they are able to reduce NRW by 5%, what the heck (here)!!!

Syabas to Syabas. Forget about Ammonia Smell issue (here, here, here too), forget the quality we get, forget the filtration system that i installed at my house.....

According to him:
Some 45% of consumers, whose water consumption is below 20 cubic metres per month, will not be affected.

Who claim that 45% of consumers not affected? The minimum charge is increasing from RM 5 to RM 6 even though for those users who use less than 10 cu.m. Before the hike, if i use 8 cu.m (RM 4.56), i was charged at RM5. If i use 10 cu.m, i was charge at RM 5.70. Now, after the hike, if i use 8 cu.m, i will be charged at RM 6 (instead of RM 5). If i use 10 cu.m, i will be charged at RM 6 also (instead of RM 5.70). So it is means that the POOR will get POORER. You use less water, yet need to pay EXTRA. What say you, Syabas?

“But consumers will pay 13% more for every cubic metre used for the next 15 cubic metres and 17.6% more for every cubic metre after 35 cubic metres,” Selangor Infrastructure and Public Utilities Committee chairman Datuk Fatah Iskandar Fatah said.

He said the increase would only raise costs by 2.7% to 4.6% for medium-sized coffeeshops, which meant that they would only pay between RM4.50 and RM7.50 more a day for water.

He said small-scale laundry outlets would experience an increase of between RM40 and RM55 per month while hair salons would have to pay about RM3 more per day.

Although the increase is Small according to his defination, i am sure, damn sure the price of the service will incerease and eventually we, the consumer need to bear it again.

He said the increase was also necessary to finance works by Syabas like the upgrading of raw water treatment by switching to the latest technology so that it could provide treated water that was of a higher standard than that set by the Health Ministry.

He said the company had also replaced 300km of 800km of old and faulty pipes, many of which were over 30 years old.

Ah ha, this is the actual story why increase water tariff..... to finance a loss, high debt company to continue running. While Syabas able to reduce NRW, it is means that they are able to gain more, but the tariff is still increase. WHY? I don't see Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd increase the water tariff in fact they are the lowest in Malaysia. Or only Klang Valley need to change thier old pipes but not other states?
