The chief executive officer of PBA Holdings Bhd (PBAHB) Datuk Liew Chook San has tendered his resignation.
PBAPP development manager Jaseni Maidinsa will take over as acting CEO of PBAHB and acting general manager of PBAPP effective from Jan 13.
Liew’s resignation came months after calls by a state Umno division in August for Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, who is also PBAHB chairman, to give up his chairmanship to Umno.

（檳城訊）民主行動黨檳州主席曹觀友質疑拿督劉竹山辭掉檳州供水機構高職，是受到巫統施壓所致。曹觀友在文告中說，行動黨對於劉竹山辭去檳州供水控股公司首席執行員和檳州供水機構總經理的職位，深感遺憾。他說，雖然劉竹山在其辭職信中提及，辭職是為了與家人共享天倫之樂與追尋個人理想，但是劉竹山突然呈辭，不難讓人質疑，與檳州巫統向許子根施壓，要求土著代替非土著成為首席執行員的嫌疑。曹觀友促請許子根向檳州人民及檳州供水機構的股東們作出解釋。另一方面，民主行動黨組織秘書鄭雨週也揶揄許子根誠如民政黨全國主席林敬益所形容“歪來歪去”的政治心態，使民選的首長喪失自主權。
