SS & Denial Syndrome

Quote from TheSun:

"DEPUTY Education Minister Datuk Hon Choon Kim said Malaysian universities failed to be on the Times Higher Education Supplement’s (THES) list of top 200 universities this year not because the quality of the institutions has dropped but because foreign universities are moving ahead too fast."......

What kind of mentality our deputy minister has? He claimed that our Universities are improving but not too fast compared to the others. Is it still in conclusion that we are still lag behind? This is SS (syok sendiri) and another Denial Syndrome of our Government.

We should keep on improving ourself and always compared to the others. When there is competition & pressure, then only you can improve fast. Maybe i am wrong ...... Maybe you have a better way ......

I sincerely wish Malaysians know what they are voting for during this coming General Meeting. I have my fingers crossed. I can't vote neither at Embassy of Malaysia nor post vote, what a shame, what a shame, what a shame........
