Please Register Yourself as Voter

For those who not yet a registered voter, please go and register at nearby Post Office. The steps are so simple. Give your IC to the staff, wait for few minutes for them to write down the details. I think they will give you back a piece of paper for reference. Then wait for 2 - 3 months, and finally go and check your voter status here: http://daftarj.spr.gov.my/daftarbi.asp. Please take note, the area that you will vote is depend on the address of your IC.

Ally, you register at 3rd quarter, you should check now.

For those who insist that "i don't like politic", "politic is dirty", "not interested in politic issues", please don't fark around and tok kok when you feel the pinch later. Don't blame the government of not caring for Rakyat, don't condemn the government of applying certain policies and regulation, don't angry because corruption is still here and there. BLAME YOURSELF for choosing not to choose. You can't run away from politic because politic is around you ALL THE TIME. Everything you do, yesterday, today and tomorrow and your future is ralated to politic and because of politic. So bear with it! YOU CAN'T RUN AWAY!!!

Grab the chance while you still have to get yourself ready and vote for 12th GE if the GE fall in March 2008. Please register during this 4th quarter of 2007.

Quote from TheStar:
PUTRAJAYA: The Election Commission has endorsed an additional electoral roll of registered voters for the third quarter of this year.

Its public relations officer Sabri Said said the roll contained the names of 412,756 voters, 308,076 of whom were newly registered ones and 104,680 were applications to change their voting address.

The roll will be gazetted today.

“The EC has omitted 141,063 names from the record of registered voters. The EC also received 1,381 applications for new registration and change of address, which could not be resolved because of claims and protests. We also received 1,873 objections for applications for parliamentary constituencies in Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang.

“This will be dealt with in the fourth quarter,” said Sabri in a statement here yesterday.

The number of registered voters is now 10.8 million.

“Voters are also encouraged to check their details on the electoral roll. They can make corrections by e-mailing
spr@spr.gov.my,” said Sabri.
