CI cannot secure 1100 mark
At around 2.44pm, Composite Index lost the 1100 marks!!! Too bad....... Great Bear is eating up everybody.... only 9 stocks gain .....

16th Day
It is over, another new year celebration of Fire Boar. So fast time fly...... and we had our Steamboat on Chap Goh Meh yesterday with Boon Keat, Kam Meng & Blue Amoeba while KJ "give aeroplane". During this Chap Goh Meh also happened full lunar eclipse.
After spending a lot during this celebration and enjoy the so-called holiday mood, it is time back to work seriously for this Fire Boar year that feng-shui master said good for Dragon ...... While luck is luck, you still need to work hard, nothing will fall from the sky, nothing is free in this world, no one will kesian sama hang. So, work hard, work smart.

Umno Youth slams Fong over neglect of Bumi grads

SHAH ALAM: Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri Dr Fong Chan Onn was lambasted yesterday for neglecting unemployed Bumiputera graduates.
Umno Youth Public Complaints Bureau chairman Datuk Subahan Kamal said many graduates had resorted to driving taxis as they could not find employment in the private sector.
He said the ministry had to assume responsibility for their plight.
"We have highlighted the matter to the ministry before but officials have chosen to sweep the problem under the carpet," he told reporters after highlighting allegations of discrimination against Bumiputera employees by Giant Hypermarket in Shah Alam.
He said the ministry should enforce a 30 per cent quota for Bumiputeras at all levels in the private sector and ensure that locals were given preference over foreigners.
Workers at the hypermarket complained that foreigners were being favoured over locals and that locals received lower wages.
They had also claimed that there were few opportunities for career advancement in the company.
The letter, sent to the Prime Minister’s Department, also alleged there were no Bumiputeras in top management positions in the company.
Giant Retail (M) Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Datuk John Coyle, who had earlier met Subahan over the matter, told reporters that 80 per cent of staff in the company were Bumiputeras.
He said there were 123 Bumiputeras in lower and middle management with three in top management positions.
Coyle said the company had to resort to foreigners for menial jobs.
However, the company was committed to increasing the number of Bumiputeras at managerial level.
Coyle added that 80 per cent of Giant’s customers were Bumiputeras and there was no discrimination against them.
"We have always preferred Bumiputeras over foreigners."
Subahan said his meeting with Coyle was fruitful and that some of the complaints raised by staff were unfounded.

Another Case - National Service
So many trainees pass away during they training for National Service programme. What the hell is happening out there? Seem like everything is not going right!!! Then how the heck the parent dare to let their children go for the training? This is human live, please take care of it!!!
The latest case happened at the Kisana Beach Resort camp in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, died early yesterday morning barely an hour after she was found unconscious in a public toilet.

1 Year Anniversary
One year now since our BN government announced fuel hike of 30 cent per litre and the country will save RM 4.4b and the saving keep on accumulating. As promised, the money saved will be used to upgrading public transport system.
From The Star dated 2 March 2006:
“The fund will be used to develop new public transport facilities and to improve the existing systems,” he said, adding that current systems needed to have greater connectivity and to be better integrated.
Besides the coming-soon Rapid Penang and upgrading of Rapid KL, i don't really see any improvement of public transport system. LRT & KTM Komuter getting more congested as government asking Rakyat to change LifeStyle, but the LRT always got problems.
Now the Question: Where is the money???
